escape clause causes error in lookup modified sql statement

I need to use a modified SQL statement for a lookup component. It has an escape clause in it and this causes error:

select * from dbo.typecustomer where ? like '%'+type_subtype +'%'
ESCAPE '_'

Is this is a bug? Any help will be greatly appreciated.

The escape clause shouldn't be affecting the parameter usage if the SQL works without it. The lookup doesn't parse the SQL, so I suspect the problem is with the provider. Essentially, the lookup asks the provider to prepare the command and then to derive parameter information. The provider is failing in one of the above steps (probably the prepare step). I would first try this with the latest provider (i.e. use snac instead of sqloledb in the connection manager for the lookup) and if the problem persists, ask on the snac forum if command preparation followed by parameter derivation is problematic with your specific command.

You told me to look into my data source view yesterday. In my data source view i have the dbo.Prescription instead of dbo_Prescription though the error message indicates that the dbo_Prescription table is missing in the data source view.

Try in BI Dev studio go into partitions tab and try re-define source table for your 'Prescription' partition to come from data source directly, and not from DSV.

Error: The process could not bulk copy out of table '[dbo].[syncobj_0x3944323636373031]

SQL Server 2000 error message:

The process could not bulk copy out of table '[dbo].[syncobj_0x3944323636373031]'.

Snapshot replication was running fine up until last week. The e drive on the system failed. The server was rebooted and the drive returned. Since then the replication has failed. (e drive is the location of the database and log files)

The database is approx. 12 gig. I googled the error message an found several references to the drive being full. So I tried to map the replication to a different drive. The replication fails with the same error.

Also tried to drop and recreate the replication process. Still the same error.

Any other ideas?

You dont have enough permission to write to the destination database
or
you Sql service account dont have right to access the replication snapshot folder
